As we reported yesterday, a 53-year-old man by the name of Mark McLeod has been arrested for the second time over his persistent stalking and harassment of Miley Cyrus. Mark was originally arrested two weeks ago as he made several 'innappropriate comments' to young girls while watching Miley Cyrus film her latest movie on Tybee Island.

The man was freed and warned that if he gets close to Miley again, he will be re-arrested. Mark was arrested for the second time yesterday, and Police have secured a warrant and searched the mans home. Police have not confirmed what investigators were looking for at the property.

When police interviewed Mr McLeod, he told them he had "thousands of pictures and letters to Miley on his home computer," and also claimed that he was secretly engaged to marry the 16-year-old Hannah Montana actress.

The police on Tybee Island refused to comment on the search of Mr McLeod's home, and McLeod has remained in custody on a $55,200 bond. Mark told the judge he didn't have an attorney, and has requested a court appointed lawyer.

Miley Cyrus' team hasn't commented on the issue to-date, however TMZ has obtained papers which show Miley Cyrus' security staff have filed for, and been granted a restraining order against Mark McLeod.

According to the documents which were filed in a Superior Court of Chatham County, Mark McLeod "shall not harass, threaten, molest, contact or attempt to contact, or in any other manner interfere with Miley Cyrus, and any member of her family, her friends, and fellow employees."

A la joven actriz y cantante Miley Cyrus le ha tocado, con tan sólo 16 años, conocer el lado oscuro de la fama. Al parecer, la policía de Los Angeles ha detenido recientemente a un hombre que estaba obsesionado con ella y que aseguraba que Cyrus mandaba "mensajes secretos" que iban dirigidos a él.

El perturbado fan, que se llama Mark McLeod y tiene 53 años, fue arrestado por la policía de Georgia (Estados Unidos) el pasado 23 de junio cuando intentó contactar con la joven actriz. Ésta se encontraba rodando una escena de su próxima película para la factoría Disney.

McLeod fue detenido por alterar el orden público, sin embargo los policías que lo apresaron aseguran que éste hizo algunas aterradoras afirmaciones sobre Miley, como por ejemplo que ésta le había pedido que fuera a verla ese día.

Aseguró que ambos eran más que amigos y que acabarían juntos sin que nadie (refiriéndose a los policías allí presentes) pudiese evitarlo. Aunque la parte más desconcertante es en la que McLeod asegura que Cyrus le envía "mensajes secretos" en el show de televisión que protagoniza la 'teenager'.

En el informe policial también consta que la Policía encontró miles de fotos y cartas en el ordenador personal del acosador y que éste le había enviado a Miley anillos de diamantes por valor de 1.500 euros así como otros "regalos especiales".

La compañía Disney se ha mostrado muy preocupada por lo sucedido y por la integridad física de la que sin duda es su mayor tesoro en este momento, Miley Cyrus, que da vida a la exitosa Hannah Montana. Por este motivo, después del arresto de McLeod los responsables de seguridad de la compañía informaron al Departamento de Policía de Los Angeles, ciudad donde reside Miley.

El portavoz de la Policía de Los Angeles, Richard French, ha declarado que agradecen la pista y que estarán muy pendientes "en el caso de que en el futuro (McLeod) viniese a Los Angeles y tratase de ponerse en contacto con ella".

Suponemos que la joven Miley se encontrará muy asustada después de este nuevo incidente, ya que no es la primera vez que McLeod se aproxima tanto a ella. El pasado marzo, según informó el periódico New York Daily, el acosador se presentó en una firma de libros de Miley alegando que quería casarse con ella. Simplemente, escalofriante.
